NARRATOR• We are in Verona, in the north of

Italy. Once upon a time, there were two rich families who also were enemies: the Capuleto and the Montesco.

• At Juliet Capuleto’s house

JULIET• I’m so sad! I love Romeo Montesco

and I know my father won’t like him at all!

• What can I do?

moonlight. They held their hands and embraced each other.

news and told Romeo and Juliet about them.

NARRATOR• Meanwhile, Juliet was at her

window, waiting for Romeo.

poison I found at my father’s drawer. The only thing I want is pour some drops in my chocolate. Give me some of that chocolate, please.

• We don’t know. She ate the chocolate of her snack.

• We think it was poisoned because Romeo drank, too.

MOTHER• You knew they loved each other!

You forbade their love.

FATHER• But I didn’t think she would kill

herself! I’ll always feel guilty of these deaths!

nobody will separate them in death.
