For each bird, there is a series of four slides.

• Study the first one: if you can identify the bird, award yourself three points. Feel free to use your field guide.

• If you’re not ready to ID the bird, go to slide number two (same bird, more showing.) If you can identify the bird, give yourself two points.

• If you’re still not ready to ID the bird, look at the third slide. If you can identify the bird, give yourself one point.

• The fourth slide will reveal the bird’s identity.
