QUESTION 1

• I mainly asked females to complete my questionnaire, as GoPoP targets females as the target audience. This is highlighted through the questionnaire as the females we more inclined to purchase or look at the magazine.

• For my questionnaire I asked young teenagers mostly as this is the target audience for GoPoP and it also has allowed me to contrast fully to my previous questionnaire from when I was collecting market research.

QUESTION 3

• 70% of people said that GoPoP would appeal to them if they were to see it in a shop for example. From analysing the results I have found that those who were not inclined by the magazine were either male or aged above 17. This clearly implies that those who fit the target audience of being a young female teenager were more interested by the magazine.

QUESTION 4

• On the front Cover 55% of people said they preferred the images and 50% said they liked the magazine title. This shows that on the front cover the images and title ‘GoPoP’ are the most appealing factors.

• The majority of people said that they did like the layout of the magazine, by the use of the columns; however, those who did not like the layout of the contents page showed that it was the alignment of text that seemed out of place as many hyphens were seen.

QUESTION 6

• Look at the Double page spread, what attracts you?

Many of the answer gained from this question showed that the majority of people were attracted to the DPS because of the use of colour and imagery. Also, many people said they liked the use of the fact file boxes as they gave an insight to the artists shown in the magazine. What I found from this question was again the fact that the alignment to the article needed to be perfected some what.

QUESTION 7

• The main majority of people said they would purchase the magazine if they were to see it in a shop. As highlighted previously those who would not purchase the magazine were not the target audience for the pop magazine therefore would not be inclined to purchase it.
