My research was aimed to give me an idea as to what the customer would like to see in a music magazine, and provide me with information which I would then use to aid the creation of my own magazine. I discovered that the people questioned typically spend between £0-5 on music magazines a week(60%), with a few people spending over £5(30%), this would help me figure the price of my magazine, and would make it affordable to the target market. I also found out that most of the people questioned favourite a rock genre magazine, and this is something I will take note of when choosing the genre of my own.

The things that people look for in a magazine were also evident from the answers, with gossip, information on bands, personal stories and tour dates being the answers, which would again help me decide the content of my magazine. I also discovered the audiences favourite bands/artists, and could include some of these bands in my magazine to attract my audience.

If I was to do my questionnaire, I would aim to get many more responses, from a much wider spectrum of audience. This would allow me to get more accurate results and design my magazine around my results more effectively.
