Today, we take a break from ordinary time, and celebrate the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul. Next to Jesus, these two men have become role models for us to follow as we grow in our faith. Their determination, dedication and loyalty to the Church is truly

an inspiration for us to imitate in our lives. These two men have helped to lay down the foundation that our faith represents through their courage and trust in the Lord. Like Peter and Paul, we are called to discipleship. We are called to give witness to Jesus in our lives. More than just giving our respect and admiration, we are called to give Jesus our loyalty and recognize Him as the one true God. The question remains: Are we ready to journey with the Lord, by running the race, and keeping the faith and following Jesus as did Peter and Paul?

This weekend, at the 4:00PM Mass, we welcome back the class of 1964. They are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of their graduation from Queen of Martyrs. They share and bring with them many fond memories that are part of the history of our parish and school. We congratulate you on the accomplishments that you have achieved over the past 50 years and wish you continued success in the years ahead. May you enjoy your time of remembering the “Good Old Days” while continuing to reconnect the friendships and bonds you established. May this evening be filled with joy, laughter and good memories.

This weekend the formal commitment of our Capital Campaign comes to a close. To those who have contributed to the campaign, a most sincere “Thank you”. To those who might still be discerning, its not too late to make your commitment. The campaign continues over the next 3 years. You are invited to join us after Mass today in the St. Joseph’s room for coffee and refreshments to celebrate your generosity and support.

A reminder that this Friday, July 4th, there will be a 9:00AM Mass to commemorate Independence Day. All are welcome to join us as we give thanks for our freedom and our country. Because of the holiday, the rectory will be closed.

Have a good week.

God Bless,

Market Day Pick Up is Wednesday, July 16th from 4:00-4:45pm.

Paper order forms are due to the Rectory by July 10th. Online orders are due by 11pm July 12th.

Due to summer break, orders that are not picked up cannot be placed in the freezer.

Thank you for supporting the Market Day program!

A Reminder…. With the warm days increasing and our flower gardens starting to bloom, don’t forget to share some of the beautiful flowers with Queen of Martyrs’ altar and Blessed Mother. You might be celebrating a birthday, anniversary or favor granted, and want to give thanks in some way.

It’s a simple procedure, just bring your bouquet in a vase and place it in front of the altar table or in front of the Blessed Mother and when the flowers are spent, just remove the vase. If you don’t have a vase, you can find one in the Altar Servers' room on a shelf in a closet marked for that purpose. Happy Summer! Pat Mason, Art & Environment Chairman

Queen of Martyrs Librarian/Physical Ed Teacher Offers Academics, Support, and Fun!

Miss Mary Ann Cronin is proud to say that she is the longest serv-ing teacher at Queen of Martyrs School but she is quick to add however, that she is not the oldest teacher. Miss Cronin has taught at Queen of Martyrs School for over 25 years.

The students enjoy Miss Cronin’s energy in the gym and her guidance in the library. Miss Cronin’s teaching style includes interesting classes filled with exciting themes. Walk into one of Miss Cronin’s classes on any given day and you will find her playing her guitar for the Pre-Kindergarten students to teach them about Earth Day or painting a project based on the book she read during her Library class. You can also find Miss Cronin running around the gym to encourage her students to keep themselves in good physical shape. Miss Cronin goes out of her way to ensure each Grade Level is challenged and engaged in the lessons that she presents each day. You can always count on Miss Cronin for her endless support of the Queen of Martyrs students. Her Bulletin Boards are filled with students names that have not only excelled in the area of sports and literacy, but most importantly displayed the quality of good sports-manship. Miss Cronin always encourages each student to be the best that they can be on and off the field and that is why Miss Cronin is a very beloved teacher at Queen of Martyrs School!
