Hybrid Course Policy

As per VA rule change dated August 15, 2019, we can now certify hybrid courses as lecture credit. This rule only applies to students who have no lecture credit on their schedule and have all hybrid enrollment in a single quarter or mixed hybrid and online enrollment. To facilitate the rule change, we developed a Hybrid Enrollment Verificationform. This form is only needed for a single hybrid course and must be signed by the student and instructor. Once wereceive the signed form, we will switch your hybrid to lecture credit for the purpose of increasing your housing allowance. This form does not retroactively apply to any classes that started prior to August 15, 2019.

Additionally, the VA hybrid rule change and the Hybrid Enrollment Verification form does not apply to hybrid remedial courses. To certify for education benefits, all remedial courses must be taken in lecture format and not hybrid or online.
