APA’s concept focused on a journey motif, showing links between the seasonal movements and practices of traditional nomadic Bedu, and the cultural heritage and identity of Emiratis today. APA also delivered preliminary detailed design documentation based on this conceptual approach, which provided dimensions, descriptions and circulation considerations for all exhibits.

description

The Qaryat al Sarab Heritage Village provide guests to the Liwa Oasis with the opportunity to experience traditional Emirati ways of life. Our interpretation focused on a conceptual journey, showing links between the seasonal movements and practices of traditional nomadic Bedu, and the cultural heritage and identity of Emiratis today. In the process, visitors experience the richness of the Emiratis' traditional way of life and explore the strong connections between past and present.AldrichPears Associates Ltd | Interpretive planning and exhibit design for museums, science centers and zoos
