2. PITCH FEEDBACK 3. HOW WE RESPONDED TOOUR PITCH FEEDBACKThis feedback lets us know that our target audience canconnect to the idea of our film.It informs us that there is a potentially large audience whichwould be positive if we were going to pitch this to a realproduction company. However, they feel that the USP is not unique. This could be apotential issue as it could not attract a big audience or grabpeoples interest. Although, from watching other similar teendramas such as Mean Girls and Skins which portray teenlife in a very similar way to our pitch, I feel that our film wouldstill be successful. 4. ROUGH CUTFEEDBACK 5. VOXPOP ROUGH CUTFEEDBACK 6. HOW WE RESPONDED TOOUR ROUGH CUTFEEDBACKWe responded to this feedback by deleting a couple of the buildscenes of the protagonist getting ready because they last a bittoo long and we only need to show a brief sense of narrative asthis is a teaser trailer. This connects more to the conventions ofa teaser trailer as the duration is usually between 30-90 secondsand shows only a basic outline, genre and key themes. We feelthat this works better and looks more like a teaser trailer. We also cropped out the majority of the scenes which haddialogue in them, as we didnt have enough time to separate theambient sounds from the dialogue, or muted some essentialscenes that included dialogue. Also we changed the music to fit the mise en scene. Forexample, faster paced guitar solos over the drug trip scene. This means there is a range of music pace to fit the alternatingmise en scene to fit the change in the character. 7. CONTINUEDIn response to our voxpop feedback we were aware that some narrativethemes were evident such as a love triangle, which was encouraging. Alsowe received feedback to make some shots shorter to make the end fasterpaced, which we took into consideration and thought was effective inreducing the duration as this also fits in with teaser trailer conventions. We were also advised to change the colour correction on some shots tomake them darker, which we also achieved easily and believe to be effectivewith matching the narrative themes and genre.(we are aware that our video at times is hard to hear because of ambient noise)(Desaturation of shot) 8. GROUP FEEDBACK(There were only a few easy suggested changes tothe teaser trailer which we were able to achieve.) 9. HOW WE RESPONDED TO OUR GROUP FEEDBACK We blurred the edgesWe made our film title around Chris head soslightly bigger so that it that there wasntstands out more and is such a harsh lineeasier to read from farfrom the picture into the background.away.We got rid of the 18 agecertificate because filmposters dont usuallyhave this, we also added We used the blur toolmore typical conventions On the characters facesto our poster such as a To help hide shine andbilling block, reviews, a Imperfections. Thisrelease date, our helped to give our posterproduction company a more airbrushedlogo and a like us on professional look.Facebook logo as it fitsto our target audience. 10. FINISHED PRODUCTFEEDBACK 11. HOW WE RESPONDED TO OURFINISHED PRODUCT FEEDBACKWe have received positive feedback about our ancillary texts, which we achieved through responding to our previousfeedback. We also agree with the feedback about the ambientnoise in the car scene, which we are aware of but did not haveenough time to correct in the editing process. The feedback about the superimposed shot lets us know thatthis special effect worked well to achieve the desired effect. Also, we have been told that the montage editing at the end is abit confusing. However, we feel that in teaser trailers onlynarrative themes are shown rather than a full storyline, forexample a pregnancy test which will connote scandal andpossibly conflict, as usually teaser trailers are made whilst thefilm is still being shot. Therefore, we feel this feedback is not amajor issue but if we had time we would go back and see if wecould change it to make more sense to the viewer.
