• Based near Celje, Slovenia

• Founded in 2006

• Core business production of PV (c-Si, pc-Si) modules, selectively also turn-key PV projects (35 MWp) & own PV investments (> € 50 m)

• Current annual capacity 120 MWp, in process of increasing to 200 MWp by H2 2012

• 80% revenues generated from exports (offices in Germany, Italy, France, Belgium and UK)

• Top rankings in Photon tests in last 2+ years

• 2011 revenues just under € 75 m, „healthy“ EBIT

ADVANCED SOURCE OF ELECTRICITY

• Renewable energy source (unlimited to humankind)

• Huge potential for use (exceeding the humankind’s prime energy needs by 8,000 times)

• Reliable (the sun keeps on shining)

• Widely available (geopolitically independent)

• Ecologically acceptable (no greenhouse or other gas emissions)

• State-of-the-art technology (result of modern semiconductor science)

• Distributed (applicable to small and large-scale PV plants)

• Aesthetical (compatible with natural environment & diverse modern & traditional building designs)

• Modular (PV plant sizes vary from just a few watts to several MW)

• Robustness (wide operating temperature range under high mechanical loads)

• Ease of maintenance (reliable with minimum maintenance requirements)

• Way of operation (soundless)

• Cost competitive

WHILE TODAY FiTs ARE STILL NEEDED…

…BY 2020 GRID PARITY WILL BE REACHED ON 90% OF EU MARKETS!

PV generation today already less expensive

than residential electricity rates in IT, DE, ES, DK, AU & HI!

ONLY SLOVENIA ACTIVE SO FAR, ALTHOUGH MID-TERM REGIONAL POTENTIAL PROMISING

• Currently not much happening outside of Slovenia

• Region will remain (PV) fragmented, administrative obstacles won‘t just disappear overnight yet

• Coming closer to EU (for states) and grid parity (for PV) should mean PV will take hold also in this region

• Within 3 – 5 years regional market of 200 – 300 MWp of annual installations could / should develop

While there surely will be clouds and possibly showers in near future, mid-term weather forecast for the regions is SUNNY!
