The Purple Door is a property management

company based in Galway. Susan Clancy and

Jean O'Gorman founded the company in 2010.

We first met almost ten years ago, a time

when we started working together in the

property management and letting sector in

Galway. Originally we both studied tourism &

hotel management, Susan in GMIT, Galway &

Jean in Portrush. Jean O’Gorman (Donlon) hails

from Longford and is married to a Salthill

native. Susan Clancy (Mackey) has lived in

Galway since 1990.

Property management was a natural

progression from hotels and something that

we are both passionate about. With almost

twenty years combined experience in the

property management and lettings field, we

felt the time had come to start a business.

Although still a young company we have the

experience and drive to succeed. We feel we

can offer a fresh approach to landlords in both

the residential and commercial sectors.

Over the past ten years we have gained

invaluable experience in the property

management and lettings sector in Galway.

While working together, we realised there was

a niche in the market for professional,

experienced, no nonsense property managers

who can get the job done.

Since the purple door was formed in 2010 our

portfolio has grown considerably. We currently

manage and let properties in Galway, Mayo,

Longford and Tipperary. Our reputation as

being hardworking, honest team players has

allowed us to develop excellent working

relationships with directors, landlords and

tenants alike.
