You will be looked after in style. Fine food, hospitality, and each day beginning at the mesmerising Jávri Lodge, a remote log cabin boutique hotel - once the private holiday retreat of the president himself.

AS SMOOTH AS ICEInari is Finland’s largest and most sparsely populated municipality – a truly remote and stunningly preserved natural wilderness.
During winter its vast lakes freeze smooth and flat. Lake-ice is truer and faster than the land-ice we’ve visited previously. The perfect surface to test both car and driver.
You’ll be based at the McLaren Ice Driving Circuits – a brand new facility comprising tracks of varying length and complexity, and offering 25% more configurations than previous locations.
Ice driving is hungry work. We’ve established an exclusive lake-side lodge to be your warm and cosy base each day. Enjoy delicious lunches and Finnish delicacies – perhaps sampling the traditional Finnish dish of ‘Loimulohi’.

Our programme is tailored to your personal driving level and goals. You might be looking to execute a perfect oversteer slide, pick up a stylish handling trick or two, learn how to access the car’s handling limits or simply improve basic control skills.
Your McLaren Driver Coach will guide you through the multiple track configurations, give advice and teach techniques that you can use to maximise driving engagement when you get back on the road.
The McLaren GT is your trump card. Its perfectly balanced lightweight chassis, powerful mid-mounted V8 engine and high-downforce aerodynamics make it a formidable performer on the road, and the ideal car to feedback scalpel-sharp responses when driven on ice.
ONCE IN A LIFETIME
EXPERIENCESThe Finns may be great drivers, but there are other, more traditional ways to make progress on Arctic tundra.
We invite you to try husky sledding – which even rivals ice-driving for sheer adrenalin. It may be the only time in your life when you’ll find yourself driving a team of dogs at speed through the snow, taking in the astonishing Lapland scenery.
More sedate but still a challenge is snow-shoeing – a chance to sample a favourite Finnish pastime and appreciate the silence of this beautiful wilderness.
And with so much energy burned behind the wheel or at the reins, a soothing massage treatment seems the very least you deserve. It’s all part of the package.
Further activities can be arranged at your request*, including a visit to the local Sami reindeer herders, snowmobiling, or a spot of ice-karting, which is as electrifying as it sounds.

A wilderness retreat, a luxury boutique hotel, a Lappish log cabin… and for your stay, an exclusive home for the Pure McLaren Arctic Experience.
Once the holiday retreat of Finland’s longest serving president Urho Kekkonen, Jávri has been lovingly upgraded with sustainability in mind. It is an intimate place for our guests to relax and enjoy the pool, the saunas, the gym, and the roaring log fire.
Jávri’s restaurant is renowned for its exceptional, locally sourced cuisine and exquisite European wine list, both of which you will enjoy during your stay.
Your imagination will be further inspired when we dine at Laanilan Kievari, Inari’s top-rated restaurant. Enjoy locally sourced food and diverse flavours. All within a traditional Finnish wood cabin set back into the wilderness.
On our 4-day programme, guests will also experience a private dining location set atop a hillside, overlooking the snow-covered wilderness whilst chancing a glimpse of the Northern Lights.
