1. OBJECTIVE: To provide facilities for carrying out testing of Routine, Acceptance and Certification (Type Test) test on all types of Electro Mechanical /Electronics 1 Phase / 3 Phase whole current & 3 phase CT/PT operated energy Meters (For all the tests mentioned in this specification ) RSS meters , ERS meters in Active, Reactive and apparent Energy Mode.

2. SCOPE: Design, Engineering, Manufacture, Supply, Installation And Commissioning of Fully Automatic Portable Integrated Three Phase Current And Voltage Source With 0.05 % Reference Standard For Wh / LTCT /HTCT Energy Meters. In addition to the above the bidder shall also be required to provide Operations & Maintenance Manuals including drawings.

Training : Three days training excluding duration of Installation and commissioning to CPRI Engineers on all aspects of operation and maintenance at CPRI.

Warrantee: Warrantee of the test system is required covering all the supplies for period of Three (3) year from the date of successful installation and commissioning. Continued technical support during warranty period to be provided.

3 QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS (FOR MANUFACTURERS):Shall have at least 10 years of experience in design and manufacture and supply of Meter Test Equipment. Should have supplied at least five similar equipment during the last five years in India including GOI organisations which should be in successful operation at ISO/IEC/ 17025 laboratory on the date of offer.

Bidder must give details like Copy of P.O, name of user, contact person, addressand phone no. of user who is using similar system in support of above.

All major equipment like Power Source, Reference Meter, and (Software) Measuring Unit shall be manufactured by original manufacturer for seamless integration, functioning and after sales & service. (Make of Major equipment shall be mentioned)The Bidder should declare himself that his firm is not black listed by SEB’s/any utility in India. If found later order may be cancelled and compensation claimed.

6 CONSTRUCTION AND COMPONENT OF SYSTEM Protection against under voltage and over voltage of mains supply shall be provided.System shall be easily programmable to give reference output frequency independent of mains from 45 Hz to 65 Hz in steps of 0.01 Hz. 8 INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIOING The supplier shall be responsible to install & commission the meter test equipment at the purchaser location. The supplier shall submit the layout plan, installation proposal and electric supply requirements with in 4 weeks after receiving the purchase order.

TRAINING 9 The supplier shall provide three days training on operation and maintenance of the

meter test equipment to engineers of purchaser. ( Excluding the period ofinstallation and commissioning)
