Controller Setup1. Connect Motor Cable plug to mating receptacle

on the Controller.

2. Connect power cord of Controller to groundedpower line outlet.

3. Turn pump on and select PUMP size.

NOTE: If CAL LED is lit, that pump has beenpreviously field calibrated. If LED is not lit, thedrive is operating with the built-in factorycalibration. To clear a field calibration, press andhold the CAL switch until the CAL light goesout. This will take about 3 seconds. Torecalibrate for better accuracy, see Calibrationsection.

4. MODE selection (INT, mA, V).

5. Select MOTOR DIRECTION (CW or CCW).

6. PRIME and CALibrate the pump (if required).

7. Press FLOW button and watch display to set theflow rate with UP/DOWN keys.

8. Press STOP/START button to begin pumping.

NOTE: Pump will restart automatically after abrownout or powerout condition.

Calibration1. Select correct pump size and flow rate.

2. Press CAL, calibration volume appears.

3. Press STOP/START, the pump will use its storedmemory to dispense the specified calibrationsample quantity. The pump will stopautomatically.

4. Weigh/measure the sample.

5. Use UP/DOWN arrow keys to correct theflashing display.

NOTE: If the adjusted calibration is too great,“Err” will appear in the display. If this occurs,press the CAL control and repeat thecalibration procedure. The microprocessorwill retain one special calibration value perpump, even when power is turned off. Thenext calibration will replace the existingvalue.

6. Press PUMP to exit the calibration cycle.

Maximum Flowrate (OTHER Pump)1. To set the maximum flowrate for non-standard

pumps select, OTHER, press CAL, then FLOW.The maximum flowrate will then flash on thedisplay.

2. Use UP/DOWN arrow keys to set desiredflowrate.

3. Press PUMP to exit.

Dies dauert ca. 3 Sekunden.Zur Erhöhung der Genauigkeit kann erneutkalibriert werde. Hinweise hierzu finden Sie imAbschnitt „Kalibrierung“.

4. Modus (MODE) wählen (INT, mA, V).5. Die DREHRICHTUNG DES MOTORS (DIR)

wählen: Uhrzeigersinn oder entgegen demUhrzeigersinn.

6. Die Pumpe vorfüllen bzw. leeren (PRIME) undggf. kalibrieren (CAL).

7. Die Taste FLOW drücken, die Anzeige beobachtenund die Fördermenge mit der AUF- bzw.ABWÄRTSPFEILTASTE einstellen.

8. STOP/START drücken, um die Pumpe zu starten.HINWEIS: Nach einer Netzspannungssenkung oder

nach einem Stromausfall wird die Pumpeautomatisch neu gestartet.

Kalibrierung1. Korrekte Pumpengröße und Fördermenge wählen.2. Zur Anzeige der Kalibrierungsmenge CAL

drücken.3. STOP/START drücken; die Pumpe fördert die

gespeicherte Probenmenge für die Kalibrierungund stellt sich automatisch ab.

4. Die Probe wiegen und messen.5. Die blinkende Anzeige mit der AUF- bzw.

ABWÄRTSPFEILTASTE korrigieren.HINWEIS: Wenn der ermittelte Kalibrierungswert

zu stark vom internen Wert abweicht, wird amDisplay „Err“ (Error/Fehler) angezeigt. Indiesem Fall die Taste CAL drücken und dieKalibrierung wiederholen. Der Mikroprozessorspeichert auch bei ausgeschaltetem Stromjeweils einen Kalibrierungswert pro pumpe. Beider nächsten Kalibrierung wird der vorhandeneWert ersetzt.

6. PUMP drücken, um den Kalibrierungsmodus zubeenden.

Maximale Fördermenge (OTHER [Andere] Pumpe)1. Um die maximale Fördermenge für nicht

standardmäßige Pumpen einzustellen, OTHERwählen, erst CAL und dann FLOW drücken. Diemaximale Fördermenge wird als blinkender Wertangezeigt.

2. Die gewünschte Fördermenge mit der AUF- bzw.ABWÄRTSPFEILTASTE einstellen.

3. PUMP drücken, um die Einstellung zu beenden.

8. Premere il tasto di arresto/avvio, STOP/START,per iniziare a pompare.

Taratura1. Scegliere la dimensione della pompa e la portata

idonee.2. Premere il tasto di taratura, CAL. Viene

visualizzato il volume di taratura.3. Premere il tasto di arresto/avvio, STOP/START. La

pompa distribuisce il prelievo per la taratura nellaquantità specificata, in base ai dati conservati inmemoria. La pompa si arresta automaticamente.

4. Pesare/misurare il prelievo.5. Per modificare il display lampeggiante, servirsi dei

tasti delle frecce rivolte in alto (UP) o in basso(DOWN).

NOTA - Se, in seguito alla regolazione, la taratura ètroppo elevata, nel display viene visualizzato“Err”. In tal caso, premere il comando dellataratura, CAL e ripetere la procedura di taratura.Il microprocessore conserva in memoria unvalore specifico per ogni della pompa, anche sel’alimentazione di corrente viene interrotta. 6. Per uscire dal ciclo di taratura, premere il tastodella pompa, PUMP.

Portata massima (pompa “OTHER”)1. Per impostare al massimo la portata di pompe non-

standard, selezionare “OTHER”, premere il tastodella taratura, CAL, poi il tasto della portata,FLOW. La portata massima lampeggia nel display.

2. Servendosi delle frecce rivolte verso l’ALTO e versoil BASSO, impostare la portata al valore desiderato.

DISPense/copyA first press of the DISP key results in the lastentered dispense volume being displayed. The “L”annunciator will illuminate and flash. TheINC/DEC keys are used to change the dispensevolume, if desired. The STOP/START key theninitiates delivery of the set volume. The amountremaining to be dispensed will be displayed duringcountdown. The dispense function is exited bypressing any key except Increment, Decrement,DISP, or STOP/START.

A second press of the DISP key causes the COPYannunciator to illuminate and flash. TheSTOP/START key is then used to deliver thedesired volume without the need to know thevolume in specific units. A third press of the DISPkey enters the volume dispensed. The COPYannunciator stops flashing. The STOP/START keyis then used to initiate delivery of the copiedvolume. The number of copies dispensed will bedisplayed after each dispense. The maximumnumber of copies is 9999. The STOP/START key isused to pause the copy dispense during dispensing;copy dispense can then be continued using theSTOP/START key.

A fourth press of the DISP key results in the lastentered dispense interval being displayed. The SECannunciator will illuminate and flash. TheINC/DEC keys are used to change the dispensetime, if desired, from 1 to 9999 seconds. TheSTOP/START key then initiates delivery for the settime interval. The remaining time will be displayedduring countdown. Pressing the DISP key a fifthtime exits this mode.

Keypad Lockout Enable/Disable Press and hold FLOW. After five (5) seconds,display will change to all dashes. Then, whileholding FLOW, press PRIME five (5) times.

Dann kann das kopierte Volumen durchBetätigen der Taste STOP/START gefördert werden.Die Anzahl geförderter Wiederholmengen wird nachjedem Fördervorgang angezeigt. Die maximaleAnzahl geförderter Wiederholmengen ist 9999. DieFunktion Wiederholen/Fördern kann mit der TasteSTOP/START während des Fördervorgangsunterbrochen und durch nochmaliges Betätigen derTaste STOP/START fortgesetzt werden.

Beim vierten Drücken der Taste DISP wird daszuletzt eingegebene Förderintervall angezeigt. DasAnzeigefeld SEC leuchtet auf und blinkt. Motor Brush ReplacementTools Required: Phillips screwdriver

WARNING: Power must be removed frommotor before performing this procedure

1. Cut off power to the motor by disconnecting linecord. Do not assume that turning off the switchat the motor (or controller) is “safe enough.”

2. To access the motor brushes, remove six screwssecuring the access plate and remove plate (seeFigure 5).

3. Loosen screw terminal at top of brush housingand disconnect brush wire.

4. Press down on brush retainer to disengage tabsthen rotate brush retainer slightly toward front ofmotor and remove brush retainer.

5. Slide brush assembly out of housing.

6. Install new brush assembly with brush wiretoward rear of motor and spring assembly on top.

7. Insert brush retainer against brush springs andpush down, then rotate retainer slightly towardrear of motor to engage tabs of retainer underrear edge of brush housing.

8. Attach brush wire to screw terminal at top ofbrush housing. Be sure wire is clear of accessopening.

9. Attach cover plate with six screws.

NOTE: Always replace both brushes at the sametime.

NOTE: Brushes should be checked every 6 monthsor 2000 operating hours or if erratic operationoccurs.

Erratic operation may occur immediately afterbrush replacement. Allow motor to run up to anhour to allow brushes to seat.

NOTE: Replace both brushes, if either brush is lessthan 7.6 mm (0.300 in) long from base topoint.

Remplacement des balais demoteurOutillage nécessaire : Tournevis cruciforme

AVERTISSEMENT : mettre le moteur soustension avant d’effectuer cette opération.

1. Mettre le moteur sous tension en débranchant lecordon d’alimentation. Ne pas supposer qu’ilsuffit de placer le commutateur de marche/arrêt dumoteur (ou du contrôleur) en position d’arrêt pour« être en sécurité ».

2. Pour accéder au balais du moteur, retirer les sixvis de fixation de la plaque d’accès et enlevercelle-ci (voir Figure 5).

3. Desserrer la borne à vis qui se trouve sur le dessusdu porte-balais et débrancher le fil des balais.

4. Appuyer sur le dispositif de maintien des balaispour libérer ses languettes, puis le tournerlégèrement vers l’avant du moteur et le retirer.

5. Glisser les balais hors du porte-balais.

6. Mettre l’ensemble de balais neuf en place entournant le fil vers l’arrière du moteur et enplaçant les ressorts sur le dessus.

7. Enfoncer le dispositif de maintien de balais contreles ressorts de ces derniers et appuyer dessus, puisle faire tourner légèrement vers l’arrière dumoteur pour engager ses languettes sous le bordarrière du porte-balais.

8. Raccorder le fil de balais à la borne à vis qui setrouve sur le dessus du porte-balais. Veiller à ceque le fil dégage l’ouverture d’accès.

9. Fixer la plaque de fermeture au moyen de six vis.

REMARQUE : toujours remplacer les deux balaisen même temps.

REMARQUE : les balais doivent être contrôlés tousles 6 mois ou toutes les 2000 heures defonctionnement, ou en cas d’irrégularité demarche.

Le fonctionnement risque d’être irrégulierimmédiatement après le remplacement des balais.Laisser le moteur tourner pendant une heure aumaximum pour permettre aux balais de se mettre enplace.

REMARQUE : remplacer les deux balais si l’und’eux est long de moins de 7,6 mm de la base àla pointe.

S’adresser au revendeur en cas de besoin.

Schritte muß die Stromversorgung desMotors unterbrochen werden.

1. Zur Unterbrechung der Stromversorgung desMotors das Netzkabel ziehen. Ausschalten desSchalter am Motor (oder Controller) allein bietetkeine ausreichende Sicherheit!

2. Um die Kohlebürsten zugänglich zu machen, diesechs Schrauben lösen, mit denen dieAbdeckplatte befestigt ist, und die Platteabnehmen (siehe Abbildung 5).

3. Die Schraubklemme oben auf dem Bürstengehäuselockern und den Kohlebürstendraht lösen.

4. Auf die Bürstenhalterung drücken, um dieLaschen auszuklinken; dann die Bürstenhalterungleicht zur Vorderseite des Motors hin drehen unddie Bürstenhalterung entfernen.

5. Die Kohlebürsteneinheit aus dem Gehäuse ziehen.6. Die neue Kohlebürsteneinheit mit dem

Kohlebürstendraht zur Rückseite des Motors hinund mit der Feder auf der Oberseite einsetzen.

7. Die Bürstenhalterung gegen die Bürstenfedern hineinführen und nach unten drücken, dann dieHalterung leicht zur Rückseite des Motors hindrehen, so daß die Laschen der Halterung unterder rückwärtigen Kante des Bürstengehäuseseingreifen.

8. Den Kohlebürstendraht an der Schraubklemmeoben auf dem Bürstengehäuse befestigen. Daraufachten, daß sich der Draht nicht in derZugangsöffnung befindet.

9. Die Abdeckplatte mit sechs Schrauben befestigen.

HINWEIS: Immer beide Kohlebürsten gleichzeitigauswechseln.

HINWEIS: Die Bürsten müssen alle 6 Monate odernach jeweils 2000 Betriebsstunden geprüftwerden, oder wenn sich Fehler in derAnwendung bemerkbar machen.

Unmittelbar nach dem Auswechseln der Bürstenkann es zu unregelmäßigem Betrieb kommen. DenMotor bis zu einer Stunde laufen lassen, damit sichdie Bürsten einschleifen können.

HINWEIS: Beide Bürsten auswechseln, wenn eineBürste bis auf weniger als 7,6 mm abgenutztist.

Reemplazo de escobillas demotorHerramienta necesaria: Destornillador PhillipsADVERTENCIA: Se debe desconectar la

corriente del motor antes de realizar esteprocedimiento.

1. Corte la corriente de la bomba desconectando elcordón de alimentación. No suponga que la puestadel interruptor en la posición de apagado en elmotor (o controlador) es “suficientemente seguro”.

2. Para tener acceso a las escobillas del motor, quitelos seis tornillos que sujetan la placa de acceso yquite la placa (vea la Figura 5).

3. Afloje el terminal de tornillo en la parte de arribade la caja de la escobilla y desconecte el cable dela escobilla.

4. Apriete hacia abajo el retenedor de la escobillapara desenganchar las lengüetas. A continuacióngire un poco el retenedor de la escobilla haciaadelante del motor y quite el retenedor.

5. Saque el conjunto de escobilla deslizándolo fuerade la caja.

6. Instale el nuevo conjunto de escobilla con el cablede la escobilla hacia la parte trasera del motor y elconjunto de resorte en la parte de arriba.

7. Inserte el retenedor de la escobilla contra losresortes de la escobilla y empuje hacia abajo. Acontinuación gire el retenedor ligeramente haciala parte trasera del motor para enganchar laslengüetas del retenedor por debajo del bordetrasero de la caja de la escobilla.

8. Sujete el cable de la escobilla al terminal detornillo en la parte superior de la caja de laescobilla. Asegúrese de que el cable no esté en laabertura de acceso.

9. Sujete la placa de acceso con los seis tornillos.NOTA: Reemplace siempre ambas escobillas al

mismo tiempo.NOTA: Las escobillas deben comprobarse cada seis

meses o 2000 horas de operación o si seproduce una operación irregular.

Se puede producir una operación irregularinmediatamente después de reemplazar lasescobillas. Deje que el motor funcione hasta unahora para permitir el asentamiento de las escobillas.

NOTA: Reemplace ambas escobillas, si cualquierade las escobillas mide menos de 7,6 mm delargo de la base a la punta.

1. Prima di eseguire questa procedura, disinnestarel’alimentazione di corrente al motore. Nonpresupporre che, per essere sicuri, “sia sufficiente”disattivare l’interruttore presso il motore (ocontroller).

2. Per accedere alle spazzole, rimuovere le sei viti difermo della piastra di accesso e rimuovere lapiastra (vedi Figura 5).

3. Allentare il terminale a vite sull’alloggiamentodella spazzola e scollegarne il filo elettrico.

4. Premere in giù sul dispositivo di fermo dellaspazzola per disinnestare le alette. Ruotareleggermente il dispositivo di fermo della spazzolaverso la parte anteriore del motore e rimuoverlo.

5. Sfilare l’insieme spazzola dall’alloggiamento.

6. Montare il nuovo insieme spazzola con il filo dellaspazzola rivolto verso la parte posteriore delmotore e l’insieme molla sulla parte superiore.

7. Inserire il dispositivo di fermo della spazzolacontro le molle della spazzola e spingere in giù, poiruotare leggermente il dispositivo di fermo verso laparte posteriore del motore per innestare lelinguette del dispositivo di fermo sotto il bordoposteriore dell’alloggiamento della spazzola.

8. Attaccare il filo della spazzola al terminale a vitesopra l’alloggiamento della spazzola. Assicurarsiche il filo non ostacoli l’apertura d’accesso.

9. Attaccare la piastra di copertura con sei viti.

NOTA - Sostituire sempre entrambe le spazzolecontemporaneamente.

NOTA - Le spazzole devono essere controllate ogni6 mesi od ogni 2000 ore d’esercizio oppure se ilfunzionamento è erratico.

Immediatamente dopo la sostituzione delle spazzole,il funzionamento può essere erratico. Tenere il motorein funzione per un’ora al massimo in modo daconsentire alle spazzole di stabilizzarsi.

NOTA - Se una delle spazzole misura meno di7,6 mm di lunghezza dalla base alla punta,sostituire entrambe le spazzole.

Se occorre riparare la macchina, rivolgersi alconcessionario.
