Meantime, please enjoy a fun and safe summer! Questions? Email Jennifer J. Petrick at [email protected]

3Principal’s Report

Multi-cultural night was fun. Thanks to Suzette for organizing drumming group. Teacher’s re-organized lines for food which was successful.

LCFF – Local Control Funding Formula – Soraya met with district and they have committed to centralizing certain things. Examples:

o All TOSA’s will be reassigned to classrooms and a team of district level coaches will be assigned with training and oversight

o intervention specialist will be hired regarding behavior management and implementation of PBIS

o parent liaisons to encourage parent involvement particularly from under-represented groups

o library-media specialist to re-open elementary libraries

lab coordinator. Need to know details for future planning. Question of need for library coordinator with new computers in class. Ideas discussed included coordinator helping in classes, some type of homework help for students without computers. Soraya will get budget at the end of the month.

Morning drop off traffic – do not drop off kids in the middle of the street, do not leave car, no dropping off in the parking lot.

Thank you – to the Dad’s Club and PTA for support of students and programming.

Auction was awesome! Thank you to Jen and everyone who helped out.

Auction

Fundraising A’s ticket sales are in and half of last year.

Mixed bag sales will start this week or next. We will look for a fundraising chair as Maria is

leaving. Programs

CPR training will be postponed until fall Mindfulness movie was cancelled due to many

other obligations. Some people have asked about checking out movie and Yvonne thinks it will not be a problem as long as she has it for the fall
