Automatic shutdown

PSM is a Windows® application, installed as a service. In case of extended

mains failure, PSM saves all open files and program information on

your PC, then shut down the computers. The procedure is automatically

deactivated when mains power is restored.

How Can I shutdown Windows® servers?

The PSM can shut down servers in 2 different ways:

1. By agent. User adds the servers IP and defines for each server the

desired time interval between ac failure and server shutdown. When

a power failure occurs, PSM sends a UDP message to each server to

shut it down after the requested interval.

2. By RPC -no agent need.

How Can I shutdown Linux®/Unix®servers?

The shutdown command is perform by SSH (Secure Shell). In the SSH

Tab, the user enters the servers IP address with the SSH commands to

be performed in the event of an ac failure, ac recovery, low battery,

low battery recovery. Because not all versions of the Linux® and UNIX®

operating system use the same shutdown command, it�s important to

verify the appropriate command with SSH client.

PSM

PSM (Power System Management software) enables you to obtain continuous real time information about your power equipment�s

operational status. You can manage and control individual power supply systems both locally and from a remote location. PSM

brings the control panel of the power system or the UPS to your PC, showing the LEDs, LCD display and pushbuttons of the device

control panel. You can take action on your PC as you would from the control panel of the device.
