Mitutoyo America Corporation is a sales, marketing, and most importantly a service organization that was

established in the United States by Mitutoyo Corporation in 1963. Since day one of operations, supporting custom-

ers has been the first priority. Initially we provided replacement parts and repair services. As our customer base

grew, so did customer service demands. In response we built one of the highest performance A2LA Accredited

Calibration Laboratory’s (A2LA Certificate #750-01) in the nation. Now we offer turnkey metrology solutions and

even integrate measuring directly into manufacturing processes via inline automation. Mitutoyo America is

also the first service organization to have A2LA Accredited Field Service Technicians. State-of-the-art M3 Solution

Centers are geographically positioned to cover the United States. Local software design and development

translates into well resourced software support. We also provide education and training through the Mitutoyo

Institute of Metrology. Overall, Mitutoyo America Corporation is configured to provide our customers with all

High accuracy, low uncertainty and validated measurement methods are the reasons customers come

measurements are traceable through our Nation’s highest measurement institute, the National Institute of

Standards and Technology (NIST), headquartered just outside Washington, DC.

Traceability requires the establishment of an unbroken chain of comparisons to references. At the Mitutoyo

America Calibration Laboratory, our master gage blocks are directly compared against the master gage

blocks at NIST on a regular interval. The result is reference gage blocks calibrated just “one step removed”

from NIST – providing the Mitutoyo America Calibration Lab with the highest reliability and lowest possible

measurement uncertainty in our reference standards.

And while Mitutoyo America Corporation is at the forefront in application of today’s metrology best practice,

Our software is an organic product that is designed and developed by Mitutoyo software engineers. This

helps ensure our software runs efficiently and has all of the latest features and functions. Mitutoyo Intelligent

Computer Aided Technology (MICAT®) is the standard in the world for metrology software and comprises the

platform on which the comprehensive suite of Mitutoyo metrology software solutions are built – facilitating

enterprise-wide integration of software products like MCOSMOS® and MeasurLink®.

Mitutoyo MCOSMOS® 2D and 3D Coordinate Measuring Machine software helps you accomplish mea-

suring tasks quickly and easily. It handles large amounts of data with ease, making it available across

the entire networked production and enterprise environments.

Mitutoyo MeasurLink® is a comprehensive suite of quality control management software that combines

real-time data acquisition, on-line SPC analysis, integrated networking and quality information sharing

into an enterprise-wide solution.

understanding of metrology. That is why we established the Mitutoyo Institute of Metrology. The Institute
