vAn applicant for admission to a programme must apply in the prescribed Application Form (copy appended with the Prospectus) fol lowing the Advert isement in the newspapers to the Admission Counsellor of the University within the deadline.

vThe application for admission to the programme will be verified by the Admission Counsellor followed by the authentication of the concerned School Principal, and Dean (UG/ PG)

vThe selection for admission will be done in order of merit and, if necessary, based on the success in the Admission / Entrance Test; and subject to verification of original transcripts / certificates.

vThere are certain programmes in which admission eligibility will depend on the pass percentage marks of the qual i fy ing Examination / Test.

vFor admission in any programme, the candidate must have to submit the Transfer Certificate / Migration.

vM.Phil. & Ph.D. programmes are also available.

vThe University follows the 10-point Grading System of evaluation from 2017-18 session.

vThe University intends to adopt semester/ annual system allowing the continuous monitoring and evaluation of performance of the students which includes two internal mid-term and University level end semester examinations.

vFor appearing at the end semester (University) Examinations, a student has to qualify the internal examinations with the class attendance ensured as per the School regulation.

vThe weightage given to the University internal and end semester examinations is 30% and 70 % respectively.

vThe Academic Calendar of the University explains Examination related deadlines and full details.

vThe University has Central Library consisting of about ten thousand books and journals/ periodicals from different fields.

vThe library has sufficient study space with Delineated internet facilities. The library remains open during the office hours.
