Burglary N.R.S.NRS 205.060 Burglary: Definition; penalties; venue. 1. A person who, by day or night, enters any house, room, apartment, tenement, shop, warehouse, store, mill, barn, stable, outhouse or other building, tent, vessel, vehicle, vehicle trailer, semitrailer or house trailer, airplane, glider, boat or railroad car, with the intent to commit grand or petit larceny, assault or battery on any person or any felony, or to obtain money or property by false pretenses, is guilty of burglary.

These are often called in as just occurred crimes.
Fortunately, security does apprehend these suspects at times so they may be calling in to advise you that they have a suspect in custody in their office.

What do you ask? Location PR's name and callback number In progress? Are the suspects at the scene or in the area? Was force used? What was taken? What was the approximate dollar amount? Call us back if the item was misplaced and/or you
find it.

What is the ADDR? Name of the BIZ? How many are in custody and where?

How do you know what to make your call?
Always refer back to the law and description of the crime itself.
If you are unsure you can always look at the definitions again in your notes and/or Nevada Revised Statutes
And, you can always put the person on hold and ask a supervisor/instructor.

Things to Remember: Use your questioning to analyze the call in order
to determine what time of crime you are dealing with.
Get the pertinent information Ask for help if you are not sure of something Use the correct abbreviations And, when in the simulator room ALWAYS log your
calls
