Dubai Sports City (DSC), is a city within a city spread over 50 million sq ft. The development is being built around world class sporting infrastructure intermingled with residential, commercial and academies offering a lifestyle which is unique to its residents.

With over 90% of the infrastructure completed, the development is currently a home to over 10,000 residents residing in Victory Heights and across 20 residential apartment buildings.

Access to Dubai Sports City is now easier than ever with the newly-extended Hessa Street interchange, which goes over the E311 highway (formerly Emirates Road, now Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road) as well as via the Dubai Motor City turn-off from the E311. The new Al Fay interchange connects E 44 and E 311. With these new RTA interchanges DSC is now well connected to Jumeirah, Al Barsha, Dubai Marina, and Palm Jumeirah.

Since January 2013 over 25,000 visitors have visited DSC for various events and coaching programs

DSC recently launched SOAMS, an Owners Association Management company which successfully manages Victory Heights villa community, Sporting Venues and the Bradenton Preparatory School. RERA certified, SOAMS offers full service to the owners association from establishment of Owners association, financial management, administration, procurement, FM contract supervision and asset management.

DSC Facilities management team runs the smooth day to day operation of the city and its facilities including overseeing and managing the infrastructure, sewage treatment plant, landscaping and all technical services.

In the near future DSC will be unveiling a Food & Beverage company which will launch and manage various restaurants, clubs and outdoor functions. 261, a restaurant at the Els Club Clubhouse is already functional. The company will launch various F&B options as and when the population increases and more venues are operational.

Football Academy at the Academies CampusThe Football Academy at Dubai Sports City is the new focal point for soccer in the Middle East. With modern training techniques and specialized facilities overseen by experienced management, the Football Academy develops players to their full potential. The academy attracts professional teams, while also catering to amateur players and sports enthusiasts who would like to be part of the most popular sport in the UAE and the world.

Academies Residence will soon have a Hotel Apartment which will cater to individuals & teams travelling to Dubai for Leisure, High Performance Camps and seminars.

In April Dubai Sports City signed up Michel Salgado, the Spanish legend and Former Real Madrid star as the Football Academy Director. Under Michel Salgado’s guidance the academy is now the best place for coaching progams. Currently the academy offers 2 coaching programs the Socatots and Soccerstars.

Professional teams Swansea and FC Anzhi Makhachkala recently held their professional practice camps at the academy.

The Fifa approved fully airconditioned artificial pitch, The Dome was recently opened and is a perfect multipurpose pitch for Indoor football and rugby and entertainment events.

The Els Club (TEC), 18 hole championship golf course celebrates its 5th Anniversary this year. Having won many international awards for ‘Best Golf Course’, TEC is also the venue of many corporate golf tournaments.

The 60,000 sq ft Mediterranean styled Clubhouse is now fully operational .The Clubhouse is the exciting addition to our community offering varied dining options, entertainment opportunities, banqueting and conferencing facilities not only to TEC members but the entire community within Dubai Sports City, other neighboring areas and businesses.

The recently opened “Events Lawn” at TEC has started hosting corporate and community events.

TEC hosted a variant of The Ryder Cup and many community events for Victory Heights residents in the recent months.

Butch Harmon is widely regarded as the best golf coach in the world. With a philosophy based on helping students understand their own unique game, the Butch Harmon School of Golf features state-of-the-art computer and video equipment to analyze a player's swing. The instruction is tailored to the individual and can work for a player at any level, from amateur to pro. The Butch Harmon School of Golf at Dubai Sports City is the first school outside the United States, and complements its positioning with the Ernie Els Design signature golf course.

BHSG Director of Instruction and Senior Instructor, Justin Parsons and Luke Cantelo recently assisted in delivering the first TPI Level One Seminar in India.

Students at BHSG are receiving many accolades in various tournaments and matches.

Players such as the club’s very own Ernie Els, the current world number one Rory Mcilroy, Lee Westwood and Colin Montgomerie have all enjoyed the facilities at The Els Club & BHSG in recent times.

BPABPABradenton Preparatory Academy (BPA), the American curriculum school at Dubai Sports City was opened in August 2009. BPA is managed by Mosaica education, offers Students personalized instruction, integrated use of technology throughout the curriculum, and a positive and supportive learning environment. The students at BPA have the advantage of using the world class academies campus to train while they study their full-fledged curriculum. The school conveniently located in the community has a student strength of over 350.

ICC Academy was inaugurated on Oct 2010 and is fully operational, imparting cricket development programs for Junior to Elite players. The Academy has been an ideal destination for International team training camps, coaching programs and corporate events.

To make the coaching program truly complete, ICC Academy successfully launched Cricket Cubs, a training program for walking age till 5 years.

Canada, Kenya , Sussex , Lancashire used the facilities for training and matches.

Recently it hosted High Performance camp for Canada, Kenya, Scotland, Ireland and Afghanistan national cricket teams. Also, The World Cricket League and the Intercontinental Cup featuring Canada and Kenya.

CRICKET Last quarter Dubai Sports City hosted a variety of events, The Great Dubai Pulse Offroad under the auspices of Dubai Sports Council for over 400 cycling enthusiasts, Youth Football League, TTC Super Cup, Team Building events and Family Fun Open Days which included activities in cricket, golf, football and rugby.

The full service events team at Dubai Sports City offers clients expertise to host from a private function to a large entertainment concert. Our services include full scale planning & organization. The events team have executed many major international cricket matches, sports tournaments, music concerts, celebrity dinners, entertainment and various other corporate events.

Dubai International stadium popularly known as the Ring of Fire, hosted the Celebrity Cricket League with the Glitterati of Bollywood stars who mesmerized the 18,000 plus spectators.

The stadium has also become a popular destination for various Corporate Cricket matches, Corporate days and Team Building events.

The Ring of Fire hosted the first UAE-wide T20 Cricket League, with 16 Corporate teams competing for the top prize.
