The aim of the competition was to build a car fromPneumatic cylinders (rotary cilynder was not allowed) which has a compressed air tank. The challenge was to convert the linear movement to rotary movement. The car should be able to drive by a human. In the competition there was three different race.1 speed up: the most fastest car2 travel: how far can the car go with one tank3 rush: the best lap on 3 round

These pictures are showing the next year’s vehicle.In 2010 the team used Aluminium for the frame to reduce the weight. And also we tried a different engine. Unfortunately the frame of the star engine broke cause of the big force. So we spend our time with repairing the broken parts during the competition.

These pictures shows the new 2011 model this model based on my thesis. This vehicle has a 3 cylinder inline engine as the picture shows and it has a much more detailed design documentation. During my design I investigate not only the frame also the kinematic and force analysis of the engine and the steering mechanism. I used for the investigation Reza N.
