PROJECT LINKAGES OUTCOMES: IDEAS TO EXPLORE
• Project Linkages was initiated to tap the traditional wisdom of elders through the creative expressions of youth.
• Project Linkages generated 506 thought provoking ideas and new source of age-old knowledge from the minds of elders.
• In collaboration with Project Linkages stakeholders and partners MACRI is ready to explore the documentation, development of creative contents, further research for other socio- economic and commercial opportunities.
SPECIFIC PROGRAM TO EXPLORE:
1. Workshop on Video Making - Digital Storytelling / Filmmaking • For 20 selected Project Linkages submissions – novel and inspiring ideas. • Each participant shall be given a token fee to create video from their original submission. • Industry experts will develop the workshop structure and conduct the session.
2. Workshop on Digital Volunteerism – Digital Skill Development • For 30 selected Project Linkages volunteers who played an effective role. • The program shall include digital marketing skills. • Selected candidates shall be offered an official appointment as Digital Volunteer with specific mandate and privileges.
3. Development of App - Utilization of indigenous knowledge for health
• A validated source of reference on health tips and remedies • Subscribers may opt for daily tips on healthy living, old age wisdom, inspirations, etc. • To be developed by a team of volunteers selected from the Workshop on Digital Volunteerism. • In collaboration with industry experts, i.e IPHARM, USM Penang, etc.
4. TV Program – on the Concept of Cercerita Story Telling Session
