I would like for everybody, regardless of race and ethnicity, toaccess and engage with my project because of the fact that thetopic of racism and discrimination is an important, butsensitive topic to address and by incorporating a media focuswith this, it will hopefully inspire and allow others to be morevocal in expressing their thoughts and opinions in regards otthis topic.

My project will aim to alleviate any racial discrepancies ornegative/inaccurate opinions or stereotypes given towards theBlack race by mass media. By displaying these statementsgiven by students, it will address the claim given towards Black people by the media and will hopefully create some sort ofinclusion within our campus community.

*hotographs, along with bright colors and a black backgroundwill be used during this project that will convey the message ofsolidarity that I am presenting with this project. "s Black isoften times worn for mourning, it can also be used as a way ofshowing solidarity for whatever purpose it may be. Black inthis case will show solidarity for the students of color and theirnegative experiences that they have encountered due to theracial bias shown by 'hite students.
