Why Are We Here?• Local government of HRTPO• For FY2016/17 through FY2021/22 FDOT Five
Year Work Program • Projects selected by FDOT for funding will be
in the (2nd) Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to be adopted later in 2016.
• Information was sent to each member government in early December
What’s Changing?• Electronic submission through the HRTPO• HRTPO will rank the following as a region Highway capacity Congestion Management (CMS) Transportation Alternatives (TA) Transportation Regional Incentive Program (TRIP) Regional Transportation Alternatives Project

What’s NOT Changing?• Each BoCC will rank priorities for Small County Outreach Program (SCOP)* Small County Road Assistance Program (SCRAP)*
• Municipalities still encouraged to work with their BoCC to submit

• TRIP was created to improve regionally significant transportation facilities in "regional transportation areas".
• State funds are available throughout Florida to provide incentives for local governments and the private sector to help pay for critically needed projects that benefit regional travel and commerce.

Small County Outreach Program (SCOP)• The Small County Outreach Program (SCOP) provides
funding to assist small County governments in• repairing or rehabilitating County bridges• paving unpaved roads• addressing road-related drainage improvements• resurfacing or reconstructing County roads• constructing capacity or safety improvements to County roads
• The primary criterion is the physical condition of the road as measured by the Department.

Small County Road Assistance Project (SCRAP)• The purpose of this program is to assist small
county governments in resurfacing or reconstructing county roads.

County Incentive Grant Program (CIGP)• The Program allows the Department of Transportation
to provide grants to counties for the improvements of transportation facilities on the State Highway System.
• CIGP may also be used for local transportation facilities the relive congestion on the State Highway System
