    2the solution:

project 192 is flexible, efficient, and well built

    Problem:

Conventional affordable housing requires tearing down existing housing to make way for new.

    Solution:

With its 192 sq. ft. footprint, project 192 can fit where other housing cant: orphaned lots, dis-used alleyways, and existing backyards.

    2Problem:

Conventional affordable housing is built with low initial cost, but ongoing costs, in the form of building maintenance and energy costs, are high.

    Solution:

Project 192 uses Structural Insulated Panels to produce a superior building envelope, both in terms of insulation performance, and structural rigidity. Additionally, project 192 employs

other energy saving technologies, such as a tankless, on-demand water heater.

Structural Insulated Panels are factory produced, and assembled on site. The entire house can be built in less than two weeks.

The tankless water heater is far more efficient than conventional models, while taking up considerably less space.

    t 192Problem:

Homes with the features of project 192 are expensive.

    Solution:

Project 192 costs less than other homes with similar features; a complete project 192 home can be bought for just over $29,000.
