Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

Editing
• In the preliminary task editing skills were basic.
However since creating the OS I have been able to create clear and flowing cuts that make the OS run smoothly. This is because of the software final cut pro which, once I was able to understand how it functioned the OS showed how I progressed.

Camera work
• The camera work was also lacking in skills in the preliminary task. The camera work was not as focused of stable as it could have been.
• However we had time to practice and increase the steadiness of the camera to produce stable shots in the OS.

Creative ideas
• In the preliminary task I came up with the ideas that were filmed which in comparison to the OS they were not as creative.
• I made sure I progressed by watching previous media students work, watching bio-pics and researching further into the life of Lennon to create a realistic and entertaining OS
