PROGRAMME NOTES LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN Violin Sonata No. 1 in D major, Op. 12 This piece was composed by sonata from 1797 to 1798. His work is not just about the form of piano performance and violin accompaniment, but the balanced effect of the violin on the piano. HENRYK WIENIAWSKI Fantasie Brillante Sur Gounod’s “Faust”, Op. 20 Wieniawski was a great Polish composer in the nineteenth century, and a violinist in the romantic period that echoed the world music scene. At the same time, he is a great representative of romantic music and an outstanding contributor to the romantic music treasure house. This "Fantasy on a Faust theme" is derived from ancient German folklore.
