- a document designed to implement (in principle) one year of aprogramme covered by a financing agreement in decentralised

operations.

What is Programme Estimate meant for?

Programme estimate(PE) is meant to allowing a more decentralised financial implementation of projects and programmes financed by the EU.

What does the Programme Estimate aim to achieved?

Making sure that, Programme objectives are executed within the set time frame.

Making sure that programme indicators areactualised at the end of the programme.

Making sure that funds made available for the laudable programme is judiciously utilized in transparent manner.

Why do we need to Validate a Programme Estimate?

Making sure that, direct and useful activities are reflected in the PE in accordance with sets objectives and results.

It is to eliminate complains from the beneficiaries which may come after endorsement of the PE.

It is also done, so that, beneficiaries, benefit immensely from the programme

Delivering micro projects targeted to poverty reduction, through community participatory planning and development;

Promoting the development of transparent and equitable local governance, through the capacity building of local governments in service delivery to the poor.

Result 1: Strenghtened Community Governance through adoption of Community Development Action Plans by Communities and Government authorities

Result 2: Increase equitable access to basic infrastructure services by women, men, boys and girls.

Result 3: Increases equitable access to income generating options and sustainable livelihood development by women and men.

Result 4: Improved social cohesion among village Communitites
