COURSE PRESENTATION

This hands-on course aims to develop specific surgical skills for nurses in the operating room in different surgical areas.

The course includes three independent modules: Orthopedics, ORL and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, which covers a variety of different pathologies.

Each module is divided in two parts. The first part is dedicated to the specialty theoretical component and second part to the practical component on cadaver lab.

This hands-on component was designed to enhance the development of skills such as positioning, preparation of the instrumentation table and handling of instruments and support equipment.

The training in cadaver Lab will run in parallel with the courses for medical doctors in each of the selected specialties.
