PRODUCTION PROCESS OF MY CONTENTS PAGE

To start off I had a blank page. I inserted three columns to make it the size I wanted it so all my writing would fit.

To add the ‘DYNAMIC’ I had to make it on photoshop and then save it as a JPEG. I done it this way so my front cover and contents page would have the same ‘Dynamic’. To insert it I had to make a picture box and then right click, import and clicked on the picture I wanted.

I made the contents by just making a text box and writing the word ‘CONTENTS’. I made it black so it would stand out as it is bold, and because it is the contents page of the magazine people need to know.

To add the ‘Regulars’ and ‘Features’ I made these on photoshopand made them both exactly the same size, font and colours. I saved them as a JPEG. To insert them onto quark I made a picture box, right clicked and imported the pictures. I dragged them to fit the width of the collum.

To add the writing of the features I made a text box and then wrote what the features are. I made the page number a different colour so the writing isn’t all black and so people can find the page more easily.

To add the arrows I made them on photoshop, saved them as JPEGS and made picture boxes, right clicked and imported them.

To add the writing I made text boxes and wrote what Ineeded to write. As these are some regulars and some features they have the red page number and black writing.

I added the front cover image in as I wanted to write some more regulars and features to make it unusual and different from other magazines. To inset it I had to save it as a JPEG on photoshop, draw a picture box, right click and insert the picture.

I added five pictures of different sizes to make a collage of pictures to fill up the spaces of the magazine. I added a red boarder around the pictures to make it stand out

I had to add captions and page numbers onto the pictures. These tell the readers a bit information of what the pictures are and what page they are on.

Lastly I added the page number to the contents page. To do this I added a text box and wrote what ineeded to write.
