Chocolate Films is an award-winning video production company run as a social enterprise. We make documentaries for cinema and broadcast, and produce creative video content, participatory filmmaking projects and filmmaking training for a wide range of clients.

However, this didn’t seem to be the right company for us, as they tend to do local films and projects.

Established as a short film collective playing with camcorders in 1996, Coffee Films incorporated in 2003 and within a year was recognized as one of Europe's leading young production companies. Progressing to documentaries on music and wildlife we gained critical acclaim for the film Last of the Scottish Wildcats as only the second company to film Britain's rarest mammal.

However, they say:Coffee Films have completed a wide range of films over the years, experimenting with technique, style, genre and the medium of moving images generally. The films vary from the classic 5 minute black and white short to hour long wildlife documentary, we like to try and be diverse.

This isn’t as relative to us, as ours would be a full length film.

Norfilms is an independent British film and television production company based in Stockport, Cheshire, (near Manchester ), UK, dedicated: to supporting and raising the professional skills of the independent film sector; to independent film production for worldwide entertainment; changing the world.

This company looks good for us. Examples of the film they have published are "Applecart" One night a gang of young hijackers chance on a lorry full of state of the art computers. In a derelict factory they begin to strip the load for the real cash value - the chips. But something's amiss in the factory, something haunting the shadows, the old outbuildings, the abandoned floors, and now the gang are beginning to die in the most horrifying ways. Somebody's upset the applecart of their lives. (Feature Film - thriller)

"The Vampires of Manchester" Manchester is home for the largest university campus in Europe, there are more students concentrated in one small city than anywhere else. Yummy! (Feature Film - Black Comedy)

This fits in with the genre of our film, and the length and style.
