James Mathews Prize - donated by Dr Ken and Mrs Margaret Mathews, in memory of their son James Mathews, a former L4 pupil. Awarded to a new member of Lower 4 who has contributed the most to school life, inside and outside of the classroom. Reynolds Prize for English - awarded for outstanding contribution to English and is in honour of Sarah Reynolds, ON.

Friends Prize for History - donated by the Friends of Norwich School and awarded to a Lower 4 pupil who has done exceptionally well in history.Alex Humphris Art Prize - donated by Alex Humphris, Former Head of Art at Norwich School and awarded for outstanding contribution to art.Friends Prize for English - donated by the Friends of Norwich School and awarded for outstanding contribution to English.Cater Prize for German - donated by Eric Cater in memory of his wife, Maria, who died in 1997. Maria was a much loved teacher of German and French. It is awarded for outstanding contribution to German.Monk Prize for French - awarded for outstanding contribution to French in memory of James Henry Monk, ON.

Howes Prize for Design - donated by Percy Howes and awarded for outstanding contribution to design. Dyers Prize for Science - donated by the Worshipful Company of Dyers, one of the Livery Companies of the City of London, with whom Norwich School has a historical connection. Awarded for outstanding contribution to science.Haldinstein Prize for History - donated by Mr Haldinstein who was one of the owners of the Bally shoe factory and awarded for significant contribution to history.Friends Prize for Religious Studies - donated by the Friends of Norwich School and awarded for outstanding contribution to religious studies.Dean Lefroy Prize for Mathematics - awarded for outstanding contribution to mathematics in memory of Dean Lefroy, Vice Chairman 1903.Scott Pillow Prize for Chemistry - awarded for outstanding contribution to chemistry in memory of Scott Pillow, an ON killed in action in WW1.Scott Pillow Prize for Physics - awarded for outstanding contribution to physics in memory of of Scott Pillow, an ON killed in action in WW1.Jarrold Prize for Science - donated by the Jarrold family and awarded for outstanding contribution to science.

Monk Prize for German - awarded for outstanding contribution to German in memory of James Henry Monk, ON.Taylor Prize for Classical Civilisation - donated by the Taylor family and awarded for significant contribution to classical civilisation.Friends Prize for Art - donated by the Friends of Norwich School and awarded for outstanding contribution to art.

Lord Leicester's Prize for French - donated by the Earl of Leicester and awarded for outstanding contribution to French.Laura Quelch Prize for History - donated by Professor JA Quelch (ON 62-69), in his daughter’s name, he was an ON and went on to be a Master at Oxford. Awarded for significant contribution to history.

Blackman Prize for Economics - named after Ron Blackman who was appointed as the Bursar in 1974 and is awarded for outstanding contribution to economics.Drake Prize for Composition - donated by Jeremy Drake (ON 63-72), an outstanding musician. Awarded to a pupil who has made a significant contribution to music.

Awarded to a member of the sixth form who has made an outstanding contribution to volunteering and Community Service.James Hooper Award for Debating - donated by by James Hooper (ON 00 -10) for excellence at debating and encouraging involvement in debating across various year groups.Anna Dunlop Prize - the winner of this prize is voted for by the Common Room to recognise the U6 female leaver who they feel has made an all-round outstanding contribution to the school. Awarded in memory of Anna Dunlop, former member of teaching staff. Alfred Ikin Prize - the winner of this prize is voted for by the Common Room to recognise the U6 male leaver who they feel has made an all-round outstanding contribution to the school. Awarded in memory of Alfred Ikin, former member of teaching staff.Henry Blakeney Chapel Choir Prize - awarded for outstanding contribution to music, specifically Chapel Choir. Sebastian John Award - presented in honour of Sebastian John (ON 97-04), who went on to study Civil Engineering at Loughborough University. Awarded for outstanding contribution to engineering.Sir Thomas Gawdy Legal Award - awarded by Ashtons Legal, the prize includes one week’s work experience and is awarded to someone who is studying law next year and has made an outstanding contribution in their studies.Barratt and Cooke Award - awarded by Barratt and Cooke, the prize includes one week’s work experience and is awarded to someone who is interested in stockbroking and has made an outstanding contribution in their studies.

Ben Colchin Award - awarded to a member to the Upper Sixth who has interesting plans for a gap year, particularly if there is a connection with languages.Ben Colchin Trophy - awarded for outstanding contribution to sport.

Simon Cook Prize - awarded in memory of Simon Cook (ON 86-93), specifically for someone who has prevailed in the face of adversity.Heather Coles Award - awarded in honour of Heather Coles (ON 94-96), to a U6 female leaver who has interesting plans for a gap year, particularly if there is a connection with economics and overseas development.
