When making a booking at The Greenwich Tavern you are subject to the terms & conditions listed below.

PRICING1. All prices are inclusive of VAT.2. All prices are subject to change and will be confirmed and fixed 6 months prior to the event.

GENERAL HIRE TERMS1. Your event is not confirmed until payment of the room hire has been received. The Greenwich Tavern reserves the right to cancel or release any bookings not so confirmed.reserves the right to cancel or release any bookings not so confirmed. The Greenwich Tavern is under no obligation to fulfil any bookings not confirmed by receipt of the agreed deposit. We accept most major credit cards and payments via BACS. Unfortunately we do not accept payment by cheque.2. Bookings cancelled within 6 weeks of the event will forfeit all deposits paid and also agree to pay The Greenwich Tavern within 14 days of cancellation any outstanding balance.3. Transfer of dates: If we are able to re-book the date within a reasonable time period we will do so. Otherwise this will be treated as a cancellation and the above applies.44. Please be aware The Greenwich Tavern is located in a residential area and consideration must be given to our neighbours including (but not limited to) music and departure of guests.5. All windows to the rooms must close and remain closed from 10pm onwards due to neighbours. If guests of the party repeatedly ignore this request The Greenwich Tavern reserves the right to terminate the event with immediate effect.6. Live bands and musicians are not permitted at The Greenwich Tavern. DJs may be permitted with prior authorisation on the condition that all equipment is plugged directly into the in-house speaker system. Any DJs must sign a waiver form prior to the event confirming that they have public liability insurance and all correct cables to connect in. The Greenwich Tavern does not stock any such equipment so this is the sole responsibility of the DJ booked by the party host. 7. All music within The Greenwich Tavern is subject to the absolute discretion of the duty manager regarding the volume levels. Please note in extreme circumstances this may result in music being stopped early should co-operation not be forthcoming. With Friday/Saturday events music will be lowered to a background level from co-operation not be forthcoming. The Greenwich Tavern reserves the right to close the bar or stop service at any time should they judge fit.9. The running of all events is the responsibility of the duty manager on the day. Self-catering food is not permitted with the exclusion of a single traditional wedding or birthday cake. All other days, bar close is 11pm unless agreed otherwise prior to the event.12. Equipment or belongings brought into the building must be removed at the end of the event, or by midday the following day. Any items left shall be disposed of if not collected within 1 week.

INDEMNITY1. Confirmation of final numbers and all food and drinks pre-orders is required 10 days prior to the date of your booking. Any pre-orders submitted after this time will be strictly subject to availability. The attached menus are pre-order exclusive options and will not be availabile to order from on the day of the booking.2. All pre-orders shall be charged at the numbers confirmed 10 days prior to the event date. If you decide after this point, or on the day of the event itself, that all pre-orders are no longer required the difference is non-refundable and non-transferable.non-refundable and non-transferable.3. For parties where a minimum spend is agreed the client is fully responsible for the actual spend meeting the agreed amount. Full payment for the minimum spend amount must be paid 10 days in advance of the booking date. In the event of the agreed spend not being met with pre-orders and on-the-day sales the difference is non-refundable and non-transferable.4. Payment of the bill is the responsibility of the individual or company whose name appears at the top of the invoice.invoice. Any costs incurred through payment not being made will be the liability of the individual or company whose name appears. Payment by third parties must be agreed in advance.5. Valid credit card details must be given prior to the event date for private hire, with a full understanding that any cancellation charges, unmet minimum spend amounts and damage to equipment and property will be charged at full cost of repair.66. It is the client’s responsibility to insure orderly conduct by members of their party. Any costs incurred as a result of the actions by any members of the party will be the liability of the party host whose name appears on the contract. This includes any loss or damages caused to The Greenwich Tavern and it’s property, members of staff and other guests of the property.7. The Greenwich Tavern cannot accept responsibility for the loss or damage of property on the premises. Any goods and items remaining on the premises are left at the owner’s own risk.88. The Greenwich Tavern shall not be held accountable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations to the client as a result of causes beyond our reasonable control. This includes weather conditions, fires, terrorist activities or industrial dispites.

A full itinerary will be completed and emailed over 1 week prior to your event date.Client approval is required in writing by either signing the itinerary or confirming acceptance by email,

and this will stand as your formal contract.
