Recently, we were informed through the media about air pollution in our country. Every day there is a significant increase of pollution in oil processing refinery in Bosanski Brod, which reaches the limit of processed oil. In Bosanski Brod they claim that the air is clean, but according to the State Meteorological Bureau air is everything but clean.

Apart from Slavonski Brod air is pollutied in Sisak. It is excessively polluted by sulfar dioksidomm that is produced by the oil rafinery.

Forest is a perfect ecological factory

What does rain taste like? Unfortunately apart from normal rain there is also acid rain and its acidity affects the forest and the soil. Exhaust of factories and cars going into the atmosphere makes the steam acid, resulting in acid rain. Soil changes the composition of plants that are found in the soil which than can not grow, and the animals that feed on these plants can not survive without them.

Pollution should be stopped because our forests are important for the ecosystems, oxygen, paper production and firewood.

to preserve the forests, apart from stopping pollution we should regularly take care of trees that should be cut- before the young trees grow 10-20 cm old trees shouldn’t be cut- that’s the sustainable way of preserving forests
