was a French singer from the post war eranoted for his humorous texts,

- Sire, I think that you’re not on the rhythm- On the rhythm of what ? said Boby … Say that I’m over the rhythm !

His stature was out measure. His mathematical research too. His way of life to earn money waswithout measure: deep-sea diver, television antenna installer, owner of a new born clothing shop,sales representative, advertising writer, owner of a cabaret, extra actor, cabaret artist specializing

in political satire. His crazy handling of the language. His unique shoulder move. His friends,Phlippe Weill, Joe Dassin, Georges Brassens, to name a few, admirer and benevolent.

All his path in life, his lifetime from 1922 to 1972, and since his disappearance, is at the measureof the child joy we feel every time we heard his songs.

DANZAS  is the great ensemble created by

pianist and composer Jean-Marie Machado. Itgathers to best of jazz soloists to explore differentmusical universes that navigates between jazz andclassical music as well as popular music.
