ASTAR BY RINO BRODBECK: UNE MONTRE D’ARCHITECTE EN HARMONIE

ASTRALE Produit exclusivement à 15 exemplaires numérotés, l’Astar est

un garde-temps déjà collector. Cette réalisation de Rino Brodbeck,

architecte suisse de renom, est une ode au système céleste. La montre

Astar est issue des établis de la fabrique Janvier SA, fondée par

Vianney Halter, l’un des maîtres horlogers les plus imaginatifs de ce

début de troisième millénaire, lauréat, en 2013, au Grand Prix

d’horlogerie de Genève, catégorie innovation. Elle a été fabriquée à

Sainte-Croix, au cœur du terroir horloger helvétique. Habité par un

calibre mécanique à remontage automatique d’une autonomie de

38 heures qui, à partir d’une base ETA, démultiplie avec précision la

comptabilité horaire grâce à ses 28 000 alternances par heure, ce

modèle d’exception est déjà une rareté. Seuls 14 aficionados

pourront l’acquérir puisque, sur les 15 exemplaires produits et

numérotés, le numéro 11 a déjà rejoint le corpus d’œuvres du Musée

d’horlogerie de Genève. En acier inoxydable, cet instrument horaire

affiche, en une rondeur qui toise l’épure totale, un diamètre de 40 mm

pour une épaisseur de 10,5 mm. Côté coloris et matériaux, si le cadran

a opté pour un bleu spatial, l’or (le disque des heures), l’argent (celui

des minutes) et le diamant (pour les secondes) ont remplacé les

traditionnelles aiguilles. LIRE L’HEURE AUTREMENT Après un peu de

temps, apprivoisement oblige, la lecture de l’heure jaillit de la

différenciation entre chaque symbole – heure, minute, seconde –, de

surface, de couleur et de dimension distinctes, et, même en

superposition, parfaitement visible. A chaque seconde qui s’égrène,

une nouvelle composition harmonieuse s’offre au regard du

cosmophile. La montre Astar de l’architecte Rino Brodbeck ramène à

l’ordre cosmique. Plus qu’un simple instrument horaire arrimé au

Purely minimalist, the new Astar watch - envisioned and designed by famous architect Rino Brodbeck - has

a space-like blue dial, without any markers, where the time of the day is indicated by three discs in gold,

silver, and diamonds respectively representing the Sun (hours), the Moon (minutes) and Venus (seconds).

The gold disc for the hours is embedded in the blue dial while the silver disc of the minutes is placed on a

transparent disc of sapphire crystal of the same size as the dial. The movement of the discs is driven by a

steel ring at the edge of the dial. The only disc carried by a hand is the little diamond one for the seconds.

Los 15 ejemplares del reloj Astar by Rino Brodbeck están equipado son un calibre mecánico

movimiento ETA y frecuencia 28.800 vph que ofrece una autonomía de 38 horas. Con su caja

redondeada en acero inoxidable y sus perfiles casi minimalistas, tiene 40 mm de diámetro y 10 de

alto. La esfera, de un azul espacial, se combina con el oro de un disco que indica la hora emulando

al sol, la plata de otro más pequeño para indicar los minutos y haciendo las veces de la luna, y los

diamantes del segundero inspirado en Venus en una original composición que sustituye a las

tradicionales agujas.

Brodbeck quiso evocar el orden cósmico en esta pieza dotándola de un rol más espiritual, una

simbiosis con el universo astral que acerca al hombre la percepción de infinito y que le anima a
