What is an induction lamp?

Uses same gas as a fluorescent tube Fluorescent lamps use a filament –

like a light bulb Induction lamps use a magnet A magnet lasts longer than a

filament, up to 100,000 hours Available in five color temperatures

– 2700, 3500, 4100, 5000 and 6400K

Local Power Companies offer rebates (i.e. change from 400 watt MH to 150 watt induction receive a $125 rebate per lamp)

Federal Government – EPAct, federal tax credits from $0.30/sf to $1.60/sf
