About the job
• “prosecutor” a lawyer you’ve chosen or that a judge has appointed to you.
• If you can not afford one one will be assigned to you.• If you can afford one you may choose whoever you
can afford.
What the prosecutor does
• The prosecutor is the attorney who defends the victim in the situation that has brought them to court.
• The prosecutors main goal is to prove the innocence of the victim while showing that the defendant is guilty.
Education
• Tuition for law school is on average 30,000$ a year, 42,000$ including the cost of living.
• The requirements to be a prosecutor is that you must have your bachelors degree, and three years of ABA approved law school that follows your undergraduate degree
Yearly income
• New attorneys make 25,000- 55,000 a year.• Experienced attorneys make 100,000 or more
a year.
Why do people choose this job?
• So that they can be apart of making sure the outcome is the best possible solution.
• To help defend the victims of crimes in the U.S.A.
• So that they can be apart of a profession that they are good at.
What’s the best way to gain experience?
• Find a law firm you enjoy and request to become an intern.
Are the prosecutors always fair?
• No, because its not what you know, its what you can prove in court.
How can you become successful?
• Making sure you’ve told all that you can to help the victim.
• Fight for justice.
