Two-fold Purpose of Dual Credit Program
1. Strategic alternative to existing dual credit programs available to Kentucky high school students

2. Strategic alternative to existing dual enrollment at the University of Kentucky
High School Students Enrolled at UK
• 373 students while still in high school enrolled from F1988 – Spr2011 with “HN” (high school, non-degree) registration
• 348 came back to enroll later at UK, 102 as full-time degree-seeking (17 of these came back as graduate students)
• 48 former “HN” students currently enrolled as undergraduate degree-seeking students
