Over 70% of Indians live in rural areas
Over 75 % of rural labour force still earns its
livelihood from agriculture and its allied
activities.
About 66% of the female population in the
rural sector is idle & unutilized. Even after 67
years of the independence rural India is
struggling for entrepreneurial freedom.

or handicrafts.

The project ‘Shakti’ started in 2005 widened
its scope to 45,000 entrepreneurs coving 3
million homes in 1,00,000 villages in 15
states in India. It is women's self help groups
which have direct-to-consumer sales
distributors for Hindustan Lever's soaps and
shampoo. The company provides training in
selling; commercial knowledge and
bookkeeping to help them become micro-
entrepreneurs with monthly net profit 700-
1000 rupees per person per month .
INDIA is facing many problems like …Poverty

… Migration
…Underemployment etc…
If we have to say
One solution for many problems is……..
RURAL ENTERPRENUERSHIP
The rural people have to be developed and must come to the main
streame of society then only INDIA will develop…….
