UHD VS 3D

26UHD/4K: AN OPPORTUNITY FOR 3DPASSIVE 3DTVs OFFER A SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE

3DTVs WITH PASSIVE GLASSES ALREADY OFFER

Better Glasses (light and inexpensive)

Better Comfort (Flicker free)

Better Color

Better Brightness

Better Contrast

with only one drawback: ½ RESOLUTION ON HD 3DTVs

26

27

But with UHD this drawback has been resolved:

*Passive HD 3DTV (one eye view) *Passive 4K 3DTV (one eye view)

UHD/4K: AN OPPORTUNITY FOR 3DPASSIVE AND UHD – A PERFECT MATCH

28

3D looks so much better on a passive 4K set as there is very little dimming and the picture is

outstanding. My 4K 84" LG set looks better than the movie theaters. Wearing the light passive

glasses should not be a problem…..

http://www.avsforum.com/forum/196-3d-content/1534787-3d-not-dead.html NSX1992

The reason I went for LG was because of the passive 3D (…the active ones hurt my eyes) ….

http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2252696 Donkeyface

One thing about LG that is vastly superior is the passive 3D, which is why I chose LG in the

first place.

…this TV is amazing!... Also, I love the passive 3D on this TV…. it is very immersive.

http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1217553-lg-4k-tv/ neufuse

…4K TVs are great when it comes to one thing: playing passive 3D content …and me being a

3D fanatic, I realized this was the best TV to buy.

…it doesn't get any better than this and the passive technology allows you some affordable

choices in 3D glasses …. This is a major step forward in bringing 3D to a wider audience.
