Summary of the status quo
Restrictions on broadband usage
• No restrictions on downloading• Possible restrictions on uploading if it is
equal to or over 30GB per day
• Transmission speed will be reduced to up to 128kbps once your monthly usage exceeds 7GB, unless you pay 2,625yen for each 2GB.
• P2P file exchange transmissions, such as Winny or Share, may be throttled during peak hours.
• Mobile access will be slowed down to up to 128kbps, once a monthly usage exceeds a certain limit. When the last 72 hour usage exceeds a certain limit, the transmission will be throttled, too.
