Itinerary for the 11 participants to Jeju:

12 October Departure from Manila at 12:30am on 12 October. Arrive

Incheon at 5:20am, 12 October. Upon arrival at Incheon

International Airport,

Then after baggage customs clearance, please proceed to

KAL limousine counter of Korean airlines located in the

arrival hall between EXIT # 4 and EXIT # 5, present your

Kalimo ticket to board the bus going to Gimpo airport

( bus ride takes around 50 minutes ) and check in again for

your domestic flight to Jeju which departs at 10:00am.

Then arrival in Jeju, the group will take the free bus

shuttle to Jeju Grand Hotel.

Itinerary for the 12 participants from Jeju:

15 OctoberThen on the 15 October upon arrival at Gimpo

airport at 6:05pm, tour guide will fetch the

group at arrival area with name placard. After

proceed to sponsored dinner at Bareumi Shabu

Shabu Buffet. Then after dinner, check in at

Best Western Niagara Hotel ( upgraded hotel )

near Gimpo area. Then free at leisure.

16 October7:00am – Breakfast at Best Western Niagara hotel.

7:40am – Meet the tour guide with BUS B group

4:00pm – Visit Seoul Metropolitan Library

5:30pm -6 pm – Free time shopping at

Dongdaemun Fashion Market

7:00pm – Dinner at restaurant ( Pork BBQ)

8:00pm – Check in at May Place hotel.

17 October (Seoul-Suwon-Seoul)

6:00am – Wake up call

7:00am – Breakfast at hotel

8:00am – Meet at hotel lobby and proceed to Suwon.

10:00am – Visit Sungkyunkwan University Library

11:30am – Transfers to Seoul & lunch at restaurant (

Bareumi Sushi Buffet)

2:00pm – Visit Seoul National University

4:00pm – Visit Gyujangggak Royal Library

5:30pm – Visit N Seoul Tower Observatory by Lift & Love

9:30am – Nami Island by ferry ( Winter Sonata-shooting

12:30pm – Lunch at Nami Island restaurant ( Chicken BBQ )

2:00pm – Return to Seoul and visit Ginseng outlet, The

Cosmetics Shop and Duty Free Shop.

6:30pm – Dinner hosted by Igroup / Libtech.

7:30pm – Free time shopping at Myeongdong Street. Bus

will wait for us until 9:30pm

Reminders:Before Departure:

Be sure to pack appropriate types of clothing and footwear. Thick jackets and coats as protection against expected cold climate is a MUST. You may also bring a hooded raincoat or small umbrella in case of rain and sudden drizzle.

DO NOT put your passport, airline ticket, Travel Authority document required for government librarians on official/ business trip letter and other travel documents in your check-in luggage. You will need these whenever you check-in for your flight and whenever you check-out after each flight.

You may bring perfumes, gel or any cream in your hand-carried luggage provided it’s within the maximum limit of 100ml each and should be placed in a transparent container


Reminders:

Before Departure:

• DO PUT in your hand carried bag at least one set of clothes and underwear

plus your: Medicine – liquid medicine should be clearly labeled with

passenger’s name. Do not carry any prohibited drugs. If you have to bring

along medicines with prohibited drugs or substance in them, make sure to

have the corresponding Physician’s prescription.

Travel Tips/Etiquetteunder Korean Culture

1. No tipping in Korea.

2. Littering is a crime in Korea (and you can get fined

even for throwing a cigarette butt out)

3. Stay to the right on the escalators.

4. Take your shoes off at the door when entering

temples.

5. A short bow - or nod - is the most respectful greeting.

6. Give and receive any object using both hands.

7. Dining etiquette:

Don’t touch food with your fingers – except when

wrapping ssam. Ssam - leafy vegetables are used

to wrap a piece of meat such as pork or other

fillings

Don’t leave your chopsticks or spoon sticking up

from your bowl of rice.

Use a spoon to eat rice.

Place chopsticks and spoon back to their original

position at the end of the meal.
