Being prepared requires you to be physically ready, mentally sharp and emotionally stable

Every individual has something to contribute

Leadership skills are often best displayed when you lead by example

If the time comes when you must delegate, do so with authority, not arrogance.

Add your knowledge and experience to the game but do not exceed it

Don’t be a sell-out Contribute to pre and post game discussion.

Check your ego at the door Find the common ground

Trust in your partner's ability as you would your own

Even if you don’t, make your partner think you believe in them

Challenge yourself to better your partner with the intent of bettering the game
