They need to have self- control in this matter. If they cant live without eating fastfood, then they can slowly reduce it

The government need to educate children in schools by introducing food pyramidin young age

Government and NGOs need to do advertisement in the television and radio togive awareness about importance of healthy food and lifestyle

Organize Run for Health campaigns

Fast food restaurants should indicate nutrition values in all their menus

We select 30 people from our working place assampling for this research.

The set of questionnaires containing 20 questions

that will be divided to 3 sections profile ofrespondent which is demography factor, behavior onfast food and awareness about fast food. The resultof these sections will be used in the research.

The chart shows that McDonald is the most preferred fast food among therespondents. Mean of 2.6 prefer McDonalds. Pizza is the second choice which ismean of 2.4 respondents prefer. KFC was the least preferred fast food among therespondents that is mean 1.9.

Our finding shows that 16.1% of Malaysian preferred taste in their fast food. Thesecond factor is service and also accessibility by 15%. The last factor is nutrition(11.7%).

CONCLUSION OF THE STUDY

The main conclusion is Malaysians prefer McDonalds thanKFC. This is because McDonalds provide a variety of foodchoices, the ambience is nicer and the promotion is bettercompared to than KFC.

This research also reveals that Malaysians choose fast foodbecause of the taste.Majority of the respondents agree that fast food is to beblamed for obesity.

We believe that fast food addiction in Malaysia is still inmanageable stage. Cooperation of all the relevant partiescan minimize the fast food eating habit in Malaysia.

RECOMMENDATIONS

We have recommended that government need to give education onhealthier lifestyle in the primary schools itself.

They also need to have campaigns and seminars to emphasize theimportance of a healthier lifestyle among Malaysians.

We suggest that fast food restaurants must provide attractive andcomprehensible nutritional labels, as it might attract customersattention as well to understand the technical terms used in labels.

NGOs need to do advertisement in the television and radio to giveawareness about the importance of healthier food and lifestyle.

Lastly we have asked the consumer themselves to have an awarenessof the healthy living habit.

We recommend Malaysian making healthy choices of fast food

SUGGESTIONS FOR FURTHER RESEARCH

We suggest that further research can be done solely onthe advantages and disadvantages of eating fast food

This research will reveal more information that can beuseful to rectify the fast food addiction among

Malaysians.

Furthermore suggestion gets information from the fastfood management with regard to information such as

average customer daily buying, the food consumptiondaily in fast food and the methods of preparing a fastfood meal.
