Dear Friends and Neighbors of Precinct #, Since my election as your Republican Chair in July 2012, I have been busy creating a
network of fellow patriots that have volunteered to spread the word throughout our neighborhoods. It has been a productive two years and I want to thank the dedicated neighbors that have come forward to help us all stay connected to the political process in our community, county and state. If you have NOT received an invite through the mail or a bright yellow handout on your door step please drop me a line at (Your email) and we will get connected.
My husband, David and I have had 3 Politics and Pizza meetings in our home since my election. These casual, informative meetings provide an up close and personal opportunity to meet our elected officials. Our guest speakers have been our State Representative of 130. Allen Fletcher, Chris Daniel, who is currently running for reelected as District Clerk of Harris County, Ray Laughter, Vice Chancellor for External Affairs, Lone Star College, David Riddle, Harris County Republican Chairman of Senate District 7 (he is our local guy who is the liaison to the State Republican Party) and a small group meeting with Nasir Malik, who is running for Just of the Peace, Precinct 4, Place 2. Also, I was elected by my fellow Precinct Chairs of Senate District 7 to represent them on the Local Government Committee to bring more attention to local entities such as school board & college board trustee elections, ESD Districts to name a few.
In February, we had the first Christmas Party of 2014 ( because I still had our 12 Christmas trees up) with State Senator Dan Patrick who is running for LT. Governor and his lovely wife Jan. It was a great showing of 60+ neighbors. It was a powerful group of people who had the opportunity to meet a candidate who is running for one of the most power offices in the entire state of Texas.
This election cycle is extremely important. It is very true that there is a great deal of money and effort coming into the state of TEXAS to turn us BLUE. It is happening, I have witnessed it. PLEASE VOTE!!! There are a few candidates I would like to bring to your attention… • National Candidate • State Candidate • Local Candidate • Local Candidate • Local Candidate • Endorsements I have spent the last 6 months personally meeting, researching and evaluation all of the candidates I am listing here for your consideration. Should you have any questions please feel free to call me @ (your phone number) or email me at (your email). I Humbly ask for your consideration and support the above mentioned races and those on the following page. Thank you, Precinct Chair name, GOP Precinct Chair #

Dear Precinct # Resident: You can make a difference by voIng Republican on November 8, 2016. We need to turn out all Republican voters
so we can retain our hold on the full slate of office holders at the state level, including the Governor’s race. And we need to return Harris County to Republican judges, like it was before a number of Democrat judges were elected on Obama’s coaZails in 2008. Make sure you and your friends get out and vote.
I recommend that you vote a straight Republican Hcket. This is extremely important since I recently learned that some 30% of Republicans do not vote a straight Hcket, and choose to select candidates mostly at the top of the ballot. Most democrats, however, choose otherwise and as a result there is a significant drop off in votes at the bo<om of the Hcket for conservaHves, where you will find the judge posiHons. This year there are 64 judges up for elecHon.
We need to elect conservaIve judges that will uphold the law, not legislate from the bench, not put criminals back on the street, not implement anI-‐family liberal policies and follow the ConsItuIon in their rulings, unlike liberal judges. I can give many examples of why this is important; we only need to look at the recent ruling by a South Texas Democrat District Judge that put a stop to our Voter ID law that was passed overwhelmingly by our legislature. Fortunately, it has now been overruled, in our favor, by the US Supreme Court. So, if you choose not to vote straight Icket, make sure that you vote every posiIon throughout the ballot.
I also recommend a “FOR” vote on ProposiIon 1, the consItuIonal amendment providing for the use and dedicaIon of monies transferred to the state highway fund for compleIon, construcIon and maintenance projects.
If you have received a Ballot by Mail, have not mailed it back and want to vote in person, you will need to bring the ballot to the polling locaIon so that it can be cancelled before you will be allowed to vote.
Early voIng is Oct. XXX through Oct. XXX, 2016 and it will be held at Nonngham Park, 926 Country Place Dr. across from Thornwood Elementary. Oct.XXX , 8am-‐4:30pm; Oct XXX, 7am-‐7pm. VoIng on elecIon day will be at Nonngham Elementary School.
Begin now to get everyone you know to vote. And let’s conInue our record as a leading precinct in percentage of registered voters voIng. In fact, let’s try to break our record this Ime.
