EXPERTISE

Pre-cast concrete flooring systems provide a lightweight, high quality and strong floor for all types of structures, including housing, multi rise apartments and commercial builds. A wide range of pre-cast floor type sand sizes can be used to best fit the loading and span requirement of any new build, and can be used on both ground and upper floors. Taranto Hollow Core Floors are available in depths of 150mm to 250mm, and consist of full-length pre-stressed reinforcement with longitudinal internal void formers. This creates a strong, but lightweight floor unit. The Taranto Hollow Core Floor also has solid concrete ends to provide additional strength at the point of greatest shear stress/load. (See Load-Span table). Hollow core floors are designed & manufactured in-house, and provide excellent levels of quality and on-site finish. The installation process does not require any temporary propping and is not weather dependent; it also allows for immediate follow-on trades. Pre-cast concrete floors provided excellent levels of fire, sound and noise transfer resistance. The hollow core construction also provides outstanding thermal properties. Taranto Beam and Block Floors provides a traditional and cost effective ground floor, particularly suitable to domestic dwelling, apartments blocks and extensions. Increased spans and load capacity can be achieved by altering the beam/block arrangement (see Load-Span table)
