TRADITIONAL WORSHIP

PREPARING FOR WORSHIP John 4:13b-14 “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty. The water that I will give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.”

WELCOME & ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Lord be with you. And also with you... MINISTRY MOMENT Welcome Pastor Bill & Karen Teng Geoff Baker PRELUDE Agnus Dei (Lamb of God) G. Bizet

CALL TO WORSHIP (from Psalm 95:1; John 4:22-23)

Come, let us sing to the Lord. Make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! The hour is coming, and is now here. Let us worship the Lord in spirit and truth.

HYMN Glorious Things of Thee Are Spoken pg. 694

PRAYER OF ADORATION PRAYER OF CONFESSION

God of great mercy: We confess we have sinned against you — We are often quick to quarrel and condemn, and slow to receive your gift of grace; we boast about our own success and deny our suffering Savior.

Forgive us, O Lord, by your steadfast love. Create a clean heart within us, teach us your holy way, and restore to us the joy of salvation, through Jesus Christ our Lord; for we ask in his holy name.

SILENT REFLECTION (Reflecting on the Prayer of Confession) ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS

BELIEF: Readings on the Reason for Faith

Sunday mornings — 9am This is a Book Study led by Rev. Bill Gaydos using the book by the same name, by Francis Collins. This book is a collection of readings from famous thinkers which convinced him to make a reasoned decision for faith. The class meets at 9 AM Sunday mornings.

LifeGroups: ROMANS Sunday mornings — 10:15am LifeGroups Bible Study is an ongoing small group study which meets each Sunday Morning at 10:15am in classroom 1. This quarter the group study is on Romans. The class is facilitated by Roger Riddle. Come join this study group for some great discussion.

Judaism 101 Thursday mornings 10am—11am This 10 week course continues and will conclude on March 19. We will cover Jesus’ life starting with the birth, ministry, death and resurrection.
