One such Success story “Abhiyaan”:
We have written our own success
story in the field of CSR through our
project “Abhiyaan”. Abhiyaan is an
initiative directed at final year
undergraduate and postgraduate
students with a view to help them
identify their innate abilities,
competencies, behavioural
strengths and areas of
improvement. In a short period of
three hours students are provided
with a psychometric profile report
followed by a 7-factor competency
assessment score card which gives
them their current level of
proficiency. This enables them to
identify career paths that map with their individual strengths and helps them to
become effective individuals as well as
professionals. Assessment trailed by Counselling
based on each individual’s behavioural
orientations and competence followed by
constant communication, periodic skill inputs
complete the cycle of Abhiyaan. Major Instituions
of Delhi University such as Sriram College of
Commerce, Hindu College, Hansraj College,
Kalindi College, Kamla Nehru College, Ramanujan College, Acharya narendra Deb
College, Jammu University including Bhaderwah campus, Lovely professional university
(Jalandhar), Delhi school of Professional studies and Research, IIM Raipur and many
more have invited Praxis EL for Abhiyaan workshop and the students have immensely
benefitted from it. Praxis EL has covered almost 8000 students in last two years
through Abhiyaan.

Mr. V.K.SHARMA
Out of five decades of active service, V K Sharma, had the opportunity to
devote the last decade ending 2012 coordinating the CSR activities of J K
Group of industries, led by Late Hari Shankar Singhania.
An engineer from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh & MBA from FMS
Delhi, and bulk of his career being focused on HR, for which he got training
from ministry of Labour, London in 1960.
His unique work experience includes a dozen years plus each in the public sector, multinational
& private sector.
He has been associated since 1999 as Senior Assessor for CII-EXIM award for Business
Excellence for many assessments in all sectors of industry.
3rd edition of his book, ‘Human Resource Management: The Evolution & the Challenges Ahead’
has been released in 2012.
Mr. D. V. Sharma
With more than 35 years of global experience, DV is an institution in himself
as well as a doyen in International HRD.
He has spent the last 16 years in senior HR positions working with Lafarge in
Europe and Africa finally retiring as the Director – Corporate HR with the El
Khayat Group of Industries in Saudi Arabia.

He is an authority on mapping & upgrading manufacturing plant skills and behaviours,
implementing four original models as created by him. He has also authored and designed Praxis
EL module on Employability Skills.

Mr. Kumar Abhishek
Kumar, a proactive leader and planner with expertise in strategic planning, market plan execution, account management, sales efforts has 18 years of rich experience in Planning, sourcing, Key Account Management/ Marketing in diversified industries.
A skilled communicator with exceptional abilities in forging business
partnerships in markets, lead cross functional teams and establish
beneficial relationships with key players in the industry.
In the past, he has worked with brands like ICI Paints, HDFC Bank, VIP Industries Limited, Da
Milano Leathers in various regional and national roles successfully. His last three assignments
have been:-
Business Head – e- business & Gift Vouchers with VIP Industries Limited, Mumbai.
Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Da Milano Leathers Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi.
Vice President – Corporate services, WLC India Limited, Noida.
He specializes in drawing linkages from activity enabled programs to the real life situations.
Mr. Shubhang S. Raturi
Shubhang is Consultant and Trainer to several corporate on OD and HR.
Applying training processes like competency mapping, TNA, CVS, Training
calendar, Content development, certification and validation of training faculty
and content, rolling out training programs, training effectiveness.
He has hands on experience in instruction design, Training of Trainers, Training
delivery, Leadership Development, Talent Development, Knowledge
Management, Employee Engagement., Organization Development, Team building, etc.
Shubhang has 20 years of total work experience within India and overseas.
He has trained and coached more than 29000 people from all hierarchies, such as CEOs,
