on a PIP or evaluation. Administrators are directed to these documents if they have questions.
Documents are attached in the zip file titled EvaluationProcess.zip
Documents include: teacher evaluation and observation forms (I did not include actual blankevaluations/observations forms. If you are interested in these, let me know and I can forward them to
you right away.), the Danielson rubrics, supervision timelines, and quick reference documents,
employee evaluation expectations and FAQs. The following documents are attached:

3. Names of staff that are designated as classroom observers and their resumes, background and
qualifications
All Principals and Assistant Principals are designated as classroom observers. Resumes for these
individuals are currently being redacted of personally identifiable information pursuant to RCW
42.56.230(2) and RCW 42.56.250(3) and will be provided in response to your public records request
#1112-178.
The following individuals are used as secondary observers for purposes when employees are being
placed on probation. They do not evaluate the employee, only observe.
Peggy Paulson
Ruth Bartron retired principal
John Thorp retired director instructional support services
Michael Starosky consulting principal/principal mentor
Vern Hayes retired principal
Ron Timmons current assistant principal
The resumes of the above mentioned individuals are attached, with the exception of Vern Hayes. Vern
Hayes is a retired principal. His qualifications were not located within his current hourly personnel file. I
will contact archives to see if they have it filed in his previous personnel file.
4. Training materials and plan for ensuring principals understand how to evaluate teachers and
develop PIPs
I am still in the process of locating these documents from relevant departments. We should have themto forward to your attention by Tuesday, June 19, 2012, if not sooner.
5. The evaluative tool for measuring principals' performance
The Principal rubric is located on the attached zip file.

6. District documents that describe the process and procedure for developing Professional
Improvement Plans for principals.
While searching for documents, I have found that there is not a specific document that lists the process
or procedure when developing Principal our certificated teacher PIPs. At this time I was only able to
locate the rubrics or sample forms mentioned in item #2 above. My understanding is that these are the
same used for principal PIPs. After I receive the information in item #4 (training material), we may locate
further documents that are responsive to this item.
7. Emails regarding development of the Principal Performance Evaluation tools.
We are currently in the process of reviewing approximately 3000 email. We will continue the review and
respond again with responsive documents by Tuesday, June 19, 2012.
