Renaissance Jewellery Limited receives GJEPC Award for being Country’s largest exporter of Studded Precious Metal Jewellery. The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) at its 42 nd Award function to felicitate outstanding achievers of Indian Gems & Jewellery Industry has awarded Renaissance Jewellery Limited as the Country’s largest exporter in the category of Precious Metal Jewellery – Studded for the year 2014-15. The award was presented to the Company in the presence of Chief Guest Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power, Coal, New & Renewable Energy, Govt. of India and Shri Rajpal Singh Shekhawat, Hon'ble Urban Development and Housing Minister, Govt of Rajasthan. Mr. Sumit Shah, the Managing Director of the Company attributed the success to innovative designs and continued investment in product development. He stated “A focus on design and product innovation is the key to our success. We have seen robust sales growth despite the challenging market conditions only because of our focus on newer geographies and product categories.” He acknowledged unwavering support of all the stakeholders in the success of the Company. About GJEPC The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) was set up by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India (GoI) in 1966. Since 1998, the GJEPC has been granted autonomous status. The GJEPC is the apex body of the gems & jewellery industry and today it represents almost 6,000 exporters in the sector.
